Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at the JIF MARINE 10 Inch Long Aluminum S Style Dock Cleat. Now, this nice, durable cleat will let you attach your rope or your dock line to your dock. It is a nice rust proof aluminum construction, and you can see this cleat has the S shape design, and that makes it a lot easier to loop your lines around the horns of the cleat. It is a bolt on installation and mounting hardware is not included.
And what's nice, if you notice, around the mounting holes here they are recessed so that the bolts will stay clear of any attached lines.A few specs on this, the length from this end to this end, it's going to measure right at about 10 inches. The height from bottom of the vase to the very top, it's going to be right at two and three-quarter inches. Now, the distance between the mounting holes center to center is right at five and a half inches, and the mounting holes themselves are about five-eighths of an inch diameter. But that should do it for the review on the JIF MARINE 10 Inch Long Aluminum S Style Dock Cleat.

Great product, shipped fast. It's a very good value for the price. I am using it to attach to my anchor rope. The design has a very nice S curve to it that makes it easy to get a ratchet wrench onto the bolts and also has an artistic curve.
It is cast aluminum which is very strong but you will be surprised at how light it is.

The shape is exactly what I wanted. However, the finish was not what I expected. I had to smooth the rough edges that would have damaged the ropes.
